Part of Heleon Group: Heleon BV (NL), PMA-Heleon NV (BE), Holstaal BV (NL), Heproflex BV (NL) and Gillain & Co NV (BE). 

Heleon BV was founded and started by Jan Timmer in 2000 in Middelharnis, The Netherlands. In its first years, the team was comprised of only a handful of people. Soon the opportunity of opening an office in Belgium presented itself. In 2002, the Belgian firm PMA BvbA (founded in 1996) was acquired and its name was changed to PMA-Heleon NV. Up until now, both companies offer an extensive range of high purity system components for use in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry. The acquisition of Holstaal BV, a company that has been active in the food and beverage industries since 1963, took place in 2008. This meant Heleon Group was established, now covering both the pharmaceutical and the food and beverage industries. In 2013, the group’s operations were expanded by founding Heproflex BV. Heproflex specializes in assembling and supplying premium quality hoses for food, pharma and general industry applications. In 2018, Heleon Group acquired Belgian market leader Gillain & Co NV. Since 1875, Gillain & Co offers hygienic stainless steel components and equipment for the food and life sciences industries.
