Today Aflex Hose announces the launch of Bioflex Ultra; a PTFE hose that draws upon the engineering excellence of the original Bioflex design and further enhances its properties.

For 15 years Bioflex has led the world of PTFE hoses in all aspects, from engineering and design excellence, to proven cost effectiveness for your company. Why upgrade the world’s premier hose you might ask, simple, we listened to you, our most valued asset. You gave us your wish list and we incorporated your requirements into the new improved design. Today we give you Bioflex Ultra, a product that again pushes the boundaries of PTFE Hose Design. This product will continue to live up to the statement that Aflex Hose is ‘The World’s Leading Manufacturer of PTFE Flexible Hose,’ but more importantly will give you the PTFE Hose Product that you and your company demand.

The hose construction calls upon the market leading Bioflex PTFE liner profile of smooth bore inside and convoluted outside. The outside convolutions of Bioflex Ultra are created using precise engineering and allow a 316 stainless steel wire to be wound into the convolutions. The precision of the convolutions and the addition of the helical wire improve both the Kink Resistance and Flexibility of the hose.

The stainless steel braid will also be upgraded in the new Bioflex Ultra design; 304 Stainless Steel will be replaced by 316 Stainless Steel. This will improve the chemical resistance of the new product in comparison with the original design.
